Hi does anyone know how delete their account if necessary? I am not interested in this app anymore

I don't think that you can, just uninstall the app.
Thats pretty messed up.
You can..sort of. It's actually a really annoying process. I was looking into it the other day because I debating on deleting mine (I'm obviously still here because I can't abandon a few unfinished novels). You've already done the first step which would be creating a thread, but then you have to get into contact with the tech team as you can't do it without their help (you should link @dapenggaofei or @shllove because apparently they're the most active or @Clarkie ). Assuming that the team responds to you (or even acknowledges your post) you also need to advocate for why you should be allowed to delete your account by giving them the reason why you would like to delete your account. Not just that but you should also email service@webnovel.com. Basically though it's a tedious process which I doubt most people go through. I'm also guessing the unused accounts probably still count as "readers" under webnovels statistics. My recommendation (especially if you've spent money on your account) is to not delete your account immediately because someday there might be major improvements or you might change your mind and want to reread a novel fully unlocked in your library or give your account to a friend. A cheat to that would be to go to your account settings in whichever platform you entered in and disable your webnovel accounts access to your inbox. This is not a solution though as you would still "technically" have a webnovel account however if you change your mind then you would still be able to enter your account and could give webnovel permission to access your inbox again. (unfortunately from my research I found a claims that this cheat doesn't work with people who used google accounts as their platform when signing up) I hope this helps!! Ayel24 Thanks, that's really helpful. I just emailed the support email you provided. It's a crappy way to keep "readers" and it makes me dislike this app even more.
