MotivatedSloth Don't tell me to check again, when I have the efing contract on my hands dude. That is how much 1 coin is worth. it's $0.02. I also said that if they do give those bonuses then yes, it's not going to be those higher range prices. By the way, before you reply and quote me, read the whole thing. That is for the future.
MotivatedSloth 1500 chapter novel, means that you have from 1 500 000 words to 3 000 000 words. This alone is like almost 19 standard lenght novels (80k words, 18.75 times). Cost IN COINS ONLY would equal to 15000x0.01$ = 150$.
And I used a novel that has 2.4m words?... Which is an average? What's your point? 1200 chapters will cost $120 with the bonus coins included... You are basically repeating me again. That whole section, is useless. Read what I wrote, please.
DarkRay Yep, it would cost that much if we looked at the rate alone (1 coin = 0.02). Obviously, that is incorrect as long as those bonuses exist.
There, I just wrote: as long as those bonuses exist. What's more:
DarkRay Now if they give you those bonuses, you'd pay (no fast passes, only pay) around $120. That is if they give you those bonuses, otherwise this number is double.
Read what I wrote.
MotivatedSloth he can keep paying 1$ for 100 coins every time he runs out of it. So yes, it's that easy.
It's true, therefore I'll give you that (it's actually 50 coins, 50 are bonus. You pay for 50, not a 100. The other is a gift, which can be taken away in the future. Keep that in mind). Annoying a bit, that you have to do those micro transactions all the time, but it is a way, and I didn't spot it. Kudos to you.
Because that is the fricking rate. I didn't set this rate up, Webnovel did. They don't count bonus coins. They count coins that you paid for. For all I know, they can stop giving those bonuses.
"In a Premium chapter, 100 words = 0.01 USD.
101 words count as 200 words, which would amount to 0.02 USD
0.02 USD = 1 Spirit Stone
A Premium chapter with 1000 words would require 5 Spirit stones to unlock, and would amount to 0.1 USD."
There you go. Got it when SS were still used. Go complain to them, not me.
MotivatedSloth Divide it by 60 days, and you still have 50k words per day, which trust me, is insane.
People can read 2k chapters in about 10 minutes, hell even I can achieve that. Don't assume stuff, you don't know. When I was younger, I could read for whole day. I know what binge reading is and was, when gravity tales and such was still around. People can watch 10h of footage daily. Maybe you can't, and maybe I can't now either, but we are not all people or the userbase here. (Something to keep in mind, when you want to do "numbers").
That is where you make up numbers. Again, you have no proof backing you up. I took average numbers of the novel, chapters and whatnot. I could continue with 90 days of reading and so on. You can extrapolate on that. Besides, I wrote specifically about those bonuses. Don't be so sure you will keep them forever. It's not guaranteed.
MotivatedSloth If we take an average reader who let's say reads an hour a day
Show me numbers. How do you know the daily reading time of the userbase? You don't know, that is the answer you are looking for. So don't come up with those numbers, if you don't have them.
MotivatedSloth To sum things up - if you are an average reader, you need to pay only 48$ TOTAL, for 3kk words book
Using your numbers, which you assumed for someone to read 1h a day, and make full use of those fast passes. That is like the best case scenario ever. No, actually the best would be fast passes all the way. Your example is very, Very optimistic. Probably unreal too. Again, you used 3m words for whatever reason while I use no. of chapters (and my word count on average was 2.4m so... what's your point? We are talking about paid chapters after all, you know the 1200 paid chapters?). You used the very bottom range of user's reading time, while I showed different ranges. That is cherry picking mate.
In fact, I can easily say an average person reads for 5 hours a day (or whatever number). They can read 20 chapters of 2k length. if we take away 3 fast passes, we have 17 for which they pay. that is 170 daily (10 coins on average right? 2k words on average =10 coin per chapter average). To read 1200 paid chapters, they would need... oh I don't know... 60 days... wow what a coincidence? 60x170 =? 10200 coins. Oh, doesn't that equal to a $100 in order to pay for that? (If you can't see that yet, YES it does include those bonuses and it's exactly what I wrote before... Bites).
Yea, and these numbers are not that big at all. People can read 20 chapters a day, or I should say, they do read 20 chapters a day (as long as they have something to read). There you go. I can read over 5 chapters a day, and I have fucking work to do as well as my own novel to write. Thank you.
If you want to make up numbers as you please, yea I guess you are right? In the future, it might be even more expensive. Something to keep in mind. And stop misrepresenting my points. I gave you clear data, that anyone can follow and repeat. If you still want to argue about how much each coin is worth, go to officials. The quote I gave you, is basically from them. There, hope this answers whatever you had.
