    burntpotato just want to know, it said that no romance. But are there any love interest? Sometimes I think no romance are okay because some people could still be intimate and cooperative with each other even when there are no romance involved. But they would still need love, trust and bonding. 😀

        GegeSadewa I’m not sure since I haven’t read it too but I guess the elf above is somewhat his companion. I’ve seen several fan arts of them together

            +1 an amazing story, I've been forced to read all the raws cause there is no translation for this novel. and just to reiterate. This novel is in no way similar to RTW other than the initial starting point. This i can guarantee

I only titled the thread like that bc RTW is extremely popular here and I wanted some readers to take the bait and try TSoD mehehehe. And I also saw your picked up thread, it's good that this novel is getting more recognition here.

              BTW, someone recently picked this up for fan translation. Update is not fixed but better than nothing. You can check NU again.

                  I've seen NU, but since it isn't consistent i'm hoping that qidian would pick it up. I'm sure it will gain traction since LOTM and RTW have both been successful Novels here. and Sword of Dawn has elements from both of these novels and has expanded on the concepts greatly. An added bonus is the fact that this novel has another story with an excellent background so i know i can trust this author to not leave any plot holes.

                    I dont know.... I've read another novel with the title "Novel Extra", its a korean novel, its not harem, but just like rtw it has alot of lovable female characters that we so desperately want to pair them with the MC. 😓

                        This novel has no romance so far. There are female characters there's no doubt about it, but it hasnt gone to the romantical point because of the fact that the body that the MC revived into is the ancestor of the family. He is basically over 700 years old. and thus romance becomes awkward. That being said there is a chance of romance because there are creatures as old as him. Like his bodyguard half elf, and the Dragons and even the elf queen who is just as old as him. So perhaps romance can still occur but its not the main theme of this novel.

                          Zafarak55 I was thinking about that too!! Hoping it's on their translation radar right now since it already has over 800 chapters but I'll stay with fan translations first...

                          Are you talking about Record of Unusual Creatures (haven't read Xiling yet)? Cause that's mainly the reason why I trust the author too lololol. Haven't read TSoD in raw so RUC is what I based on and great reviews on NU for TSoD hype.

                          GegeSadewa I'd say there would be a lot of females around with MC but not harem, mostly as his subordinates or comic relief lol ... romance? maybe in the future hmmm like 1000+? :laughing:

                          Edit: I love TNE too. But I haven't gone back since I read up to their latest update that time, the start of the tower arc? or something lol. BUT I heard a lot of commotion during when it ended. :laughing:
