The Ultimate Evolution is coming to an end with only a few dozen chapters left. Yesterday and today's chapters were posted, but behind the privilege paywall. It says they're currently building up their stockpile.

This is some seriously greedy bullshit to pull at the end of a novel, and I thought Webnovel promised that Privilege would never interfere with the regular release of chapters.

It's endless lies, revisionism, and greed with Webnovel. But what did we expect? That's the modus operandi for where they operate. They think that's just how you're supposed to run a company.

I've spent over $300 on this platform. Not another damn dime.

    It's most likely an oversight, not intentional. The novel's status needs to be set to completed before the chapters in the privilege pool are released to the normal update pool.

        Cantiara That's giving a lot of the benefit of the doubt to a site that deserves none. This has all the appearance of an extremely greedy move by a company known for greedy moves.

            Cantiara It shouldn't be an oversight. They stop updating sometimes to build the chapter pool for privilege. I remember something like this happening for Joy of Life too. While, I have not been following Pursuit of the Truth closely for the past 2 months or so, it had been apparently slowed down to maintain the privilege too, as per my calculation about its release speed.

                That can be. I don't know the specifics regarding this particular novel either, but in most of the cases that I've seen, similar to this one, it was an oversight. Most TL teams have too many novels to handle that sometimes they simply fail to keep track of which novels are done and should be set to completed.

                        Okay, I misunderstood that. My bad.

                        WN had adjusted their highest privilege tier at the beginning of this month. The highest privilege tier used to have 20 advance chapters, but starting this month, they have increased it to 25 advance chapters, without changing the price.

                        There have been cases in the past few days where the TL team simply didn't have enough stockpile to release to their readers because of this move by WN.
