I've read up to chapter 30 and so far I'm really liking it.
I can see why some people got frustrated with the FL, but I think her character is well thought out. She is the youngest child, grew up in a well-off family, has never experienced real hardships, has always been sheltered and pampered by her family. So, yes, it makes sense that she's naive and has a childlike behavior.
Besides, I don't like flawless characters. Their struggles and growth are precisely the things that make a plot. As long as it's written well, then I'm a satisfied reader.
I really like this author. She has a knack for comedy. Both Mr. Nian and Yan Changqing are ridiculously hilarious.
And I'm glad this one's translated by Henyee group instead of Nyoiboi (the group that translated Mr. Nian). Though there are still some translation mistakes here and there, but the errors are still minimal compared to Nyoiboi's.
