evolx24 no worries!
I think the key is to write yourself a beat sheet where you have all the 'arcs' or important story beats (major events, chara development etc) down, and properly lay out your story. Then the next step would be to make a stepoutline, where you step by step go through everything that happens in each chapter and then write your chapters.
Each character should have their own arc and development if that makes sense.
If youre struggling with structure, i highly recommend the 5 act structure for your story and main character/s.
Yea, with many charas you kinda lose sight of the protagomist whos the most important one bc we follow their story.
As for the synopsis, definitely cut it down. Theres a lot of expositional 'lore' /background info which is ok but that should go in the novel where you slowly explain, but not in an expositional way, to the reader. Bc frankly not many are going to read the synopsis and i was kinda turned down by the length.
Also, do a logline one or two sentences to really nail down what your story is about, the core of your story. If you cant summarise your plot, main character, antagonist and their obstacles in maximum two sentences, then you should rethink what is it you want to tell with your story.
I'm sorry, if I sound patronising or anything else lol but Im a huge fan of sci fi and I really like your work, and having written sci fi myself, ik how hard it is to do world building and translate whats in your head into a story.
And my feedback may be long but tbh im used to writing pages and pages of story feedback for uni etc so its a habit
