  • Answering WNcontract - Parents' IDs (Will WBN contact those IDs?)

I received a contract just a few months ago... I was not able to fill it out since I still don't have a bank acc then, but since I will finally be able to get one, I might as well try and complete it.

Many say that WBN contracts are a bit absurd and it doesn't really pay your work that well, but since I'm still just a student, even a small amount of money, I will get attracted to.

Now... to those who have had experience completing a contract, is the 'Parent Id' important? Since I want to keep my work a secret, I want to avoid asking for my parents' IDs and consent. Hahaha.

Can I write anything else there...?

Also, how much will an amateur will receive at average per/month?

Kiikuro_Shichigo If you are, at least, 18-years-old, then you don't need your parents' ID. If you are below 18, then you will need your parents' ID, consent, and signature on the documents (for more details, contact a WN editor).

As for the pay, there used to be a Minimum Guarantee System that payed 200 USD to 400 USD for the first 4 months, and then you earned whatever your book made. They seem to have made changes to the MGS, so I don't know how it works now, but there still is some sort of payment (again, contact a WN editor for more details).

As for how to contact a WN editor: Join the Webnovel Writers Discord server and ping the people in yellow (titled Staff). Just ping one of those who have the green "online" status on their pfp.

Besides this, you can also contact WN through email at service@webnovel.com for any queries you might have.
