being different isn't the problem but the solution, it's often a pledge of originality...
1) everybody has his own way to work. many things will influence your publishing rate. the first is the time you can spend writing each day. if it's not a full time job, it's normal not writing thousands of words everyday. the most important factor is the number of steps you need between your first draft and the final version. i also need many steps, so 1,000 words for me is around 10 hours of hard work, with a natural "incubation time" between each step so that those 1,000 words won't be finished before days or weeks. many people can't be as productive as writing 1,500 words everyday, they just send drafts, you can see it often. your rhythm is the rhythm that fits you. if your not a professional writer under contract with the site, you just don't have to care.
2) someone said me once, "i prefer reading 10 pages of clever content than 100 pages of bullshit". forceful addition of words in a chapter isn't interesting for the reader.
3) your writing style is yours. like a forceful addition of content, a forceful change in the style won't be good, you can only obtain a paradic content. if the story, the general style etc. don't fit "classic literature" style, it's better to have simple and common words (mine is the opposite, but it's a constraint of my style for comedic propose).
i've never written a fanfic and don't read this kind of stories.
4) this can be a problem, especially if english is your primary language. it's harder to read something with bad grammar and syntax, especially for people who aren't native speakers. you can ask your readers for pointers if it's really a problem. i can't help you, english isn't my primary language and too many shades in this language escape my abilities.
forthemore, i've tried to look in the search-bar with your pseudo to find your work but there are more than 2,000 answers; so it's virtually impossible to find it. if you need a feedback, can you give us the name of the book or say if you already answered to the thread about promotion.
