      Promoting my novel as this is a continuation from when I dropped it a few months ago. I want some exposure, but I cannot be in the rankings, so here I am.

      And that's what he got.

      Fiona, a princess from the Glendora kingdom renowned for the Queen's, no, her mother's eccentric desire for power.

      Forced into blind dates, marriage alliances, and to be a chess piece, she ran away from home, in search of the king in her heart. Her father.

      A father is what she got, after a fated encounter in the most unlikely of places.

      Together, they embark on a journey together, across worlds, strengthening their cultivation and bonds.

      But a king is still a chess piece, and chess pieces can be replaced.

      "You... I don't see you as a true father."

      The man tightened his lips.

      "I'm not. That's fine. But... why do you see me as a replacement? Were our times together, our journey together, my life that I decided to give for you just an illusion in your eyes?"

      All good things must come to an end. When one tragedy passes, another begins. Both times, tragedy awoke from a lack of paternal love.

      So will the outcome be the same as before? A new beginning, a new life, a new purpose?

      Or will Vincent's life just be devoid of family and happy endings?
