Here's a suggestion:
Fortune telling is an art.
Do not let anyone fool you.
Crafting believable lies is one of the most difficult things to do. Each lie needs more lies to maintain it. It takes heavy brainwork to keep track of them all.
Consequently, with each new lie, a situation becomes messier than the last.
Eventually, it snaps.
Jay Kaiya transmigrated to a new world, leaving his troubles behind. This became his chance to begin again! Containing magic and adventures, he could turn a new leaf and make something of himself.
Unfortunately, his bliss didn't last long when he gets tangled in a huge incident again.

I wasn't sure what you wanted to portray but tried to give it a shot. I believe you wanted to some mystery in your current synopsis while also adding hints of twists. Also, leaving a cliffhanger by the end. I hope the suggestion was able to tackle them all.

JKaiya Have you ever tried to do a premise on your story? This might help with formulating your book summary, as this is what a premise does. Evernote has a really easy template to follow. You can give their template a go and see if it helps. You'll need to create your own version in word if you don't have Evernote.

I haven't really started yet, as I've just finalized the 3-Act outline on the story. My entry is for the #Apocalyptic category. There's currently three chapters up. I'm treating this contest like Nanowrimo. I figured I can be more supportive if I'm also doing the journey.
