    This novel is about Dave, who is a pro gamer for seven years. Unlike other pros he never played a single official game, because he is only the backup. During the finals of the worlds his team sees no chance to win and runs off. Instead of leaving as well he sees his chance and challenges the other team. He steps on stage to fight 1 vs. 7!

    After the fight his team kicks him out because he damaged their image.
    The next day he saves a woman from two criminals with special powers. He gets heavily injured during the rescue.
    When he wakes up again, he notices that he too developed a speacial power.
    The power of heroism!
    A strange encounter during his coma helps him boost his ability and turn it into a system. This will help Dave a lot since he is a pro gamer. Even better his hero image and abilities are similar to the champion he always played in the MOBA game.
    Will he develop his skills similar to that champion or walk his own path?
    Read this if you want to know, what kind of achievements are needed to unlock the hero title!

    This story takes place in an apocalyptic world. Through climate change people had to change their way of living. They built the floating island New Asia to save their lives. But even here they might be in danger.
    Can Dave step up and become the hero, who protects the remains of humanity?

    Can you tell me where I can say for which category it is? I could only select the spirity award, when I created it.
    And I have another problem. My novel would be possible for more than one category. We have an apocalyptic world, a game like setting...maybe even evolution...

        SuperSilentSin Hello there SuperSilentSin! I think Webnovel itself would categorize what your story falls in, however, I think it is best that you still identify a main category :)

        I identify my story to be in Comedy (Slice-of-Life) but it is applicable in Sweet Love category. The decision is up to you _

              RachelRuth but how do I specify that? I chose a number of tags... or is there a different place where a can choose? Are they strting a ranking or something and when are they going to specify my novel? do I have to write first 20k words because in the rules it says you can only take part after 20k words ...

                  Synopsis: Ever since Elliot picked up a mysterious book named Macrocosm he's been plagued with bizarre dreams.
                  In those dreams he's transported to a bloody world filled with terrifying demons and beasts. He can't leave until he's killed all the creatures in his sight.
                  Weirdly when he wakes up all the injuries he received in the dream are still there. Along with the weird powers he gains by killing the monsters.

                  Aeh so I will also share my spirity entry here. Let me know your thoughts of what you think about this story of mine.
                  Title : ORDAIN
                  Genre : Sci-fi [ should fall under magic and knights category for the contest]
                  Synopsis :
                  This World is called The Fourth Layer. Why was named fourth still baffles me. But just like this question which had not been answered, This world was surrounded by numerous mysteries.

                  Too many to list here but the top one would of course be the emergence of Beholders. Now Beholders are not some different species that popped up to conquer us. No that is only a title that was given to people in our world who were born with abilities. We don't remember when the first of them were born. But they always had some different talent.

                  Abilities that could allow you to control gaseous combustion, ability to control biological responses. Strange abilities started appearing which gave a person the authority to control one aspect of our world. Abilities were called the Beholder’s Ordain. And along with their abilities Beholders would also be granted an object that was connected to their power. We named this object as an Artifact. A simpler name. (Too many names I realise.)

                  Despite people with such abilities being present the structure of our society does not face any threat as Beholders adapted well with it. Yet peace hasn't been a well received notion among the general human being. And as we know, it is not the ability that has to be feared but the wielder.

                  Human emotions such as greed, lust, envy, ego and such often manage to put things around us in chaos. This way there was no short amount of villains even in our world. And I was the victim of some of these villains. Seven villains to be exact. What happened next?

                  I died.

                  Now let's pickup my story as I try to stage a perfect comeback and have my sweet revenge.

                  This my story of revenge, as I reached higher in my journey with my ability, The Strongest ORDAIN.
