Talking about the male lead novels. Why did 48 Hours not win when it had like 2x the votes of the detective novel? Also, why did I have countless legendary swords get the editor approval with a 4.2 rating when Dawn of a new Era has a 4.7 rating??
Why did the 2nd voted novel get released and not the 1st votes?
Yeah, I was wondering the same, the novel that should have been released was '48 Hours a Day'.
Seems like they were afraid that Pocket Hunting Dimension would overtake the detective novel. Doesn't seem like they actually want to listen to votes and just want to release novels chosen by other means.
Towel They seriously need to randomize the novels in the voting pool because the top 2 are basically guaranteed to win. Or they need to increase the amount of novels that get into the voting pool because I swear some of the novels in there have serious potential like Dawn of a new Era is a good read, but due to selection they will probably take it out of the trial read pool and replace it with some shitty novel.
Also, why do novels like Genius daddy in the city or The genius system with no equal make it into the voting pool, when novels with a MUCH better score fail to make it in and due to time limit get removed from the trial read section. Who the fuck is selecting the novels??!
The other novel might just be delayed because there is a notification about double release of new novels

Shadowdracul Yeah, there will be 2 novels released every week. This was announced last week and this was the reason the no. of novels in the Voting Section also doubled.

Towel there's literally no point in voting except for xp. Like I wouldn't even be half surprised if most votes were by bots since its basically just a waiting list. I haven't been on for WN that long but I dont think I ever remember a time something actually outbeat another for a couple months. Like the new 3 options due to 2 novels being released now have the bottom 2 of each section basically same amount of votes. Plus I remembee the Tycoon one being behind or ahead of the other 2 by few thousnd one day, then it was about the same when I checked the next day.
Bring back my Holy Roman Empire for goodness sake, and drop those idiotic beating young master simulator out of the list, these are not good enough!

I remember once in the days of yore, that there was a novel that managed to overtake another novel, which had been there a week earlier, after the second week. It felt magnificent, but I forgot the title.
I'm wondering how the trial read points are actually working (the points gained by people using coins to unlock the novel). Do novels with higher word counts have an advantage? They all seem to have the same number of chapters after all.
FYI PlotArmour Ratings for novels on Webnovel are entirely superficial and don't count for anything.
