I have a question. Which I always wanted to ask.

Why you guys always drop novel right before the ending?
It's so frustrating. It's not once but every, single, time, whenever, I, find, something, to, read.
Last time was stealing the heavens now death scripture and many more.
At least finish it since you started it. Always dropped it right before 100-200 chapters.
Just how hard is it to continue another 100 chapters?!

You guys love reviews from readers right?
Like how they are loving the app and books.
Then this is my honest review about you guys.

Please, if you want people to use your product. Then finish what you started don't drop it in between. I don't care what you guys started years ago. But at the very least, finish what you dropped this year.
We, readers, will be very grateful.

Thank you for reading this.

Please try to give us some of the novels in English
It seems the nice ones are in Tagalog

Max255 Well, the main reason usually because of the lack of accomplishment. If a writer is a car, then any comment that a reader gives is the fuel. The writer is human too, they need a sense of accomplishment. Even a comment with one word such as, "Nice, More, etc," will fuel the writer for several days.

So the dropping issues, it mainly because of hate comments and bad reviews. Like any car, you can't pour any kind of fuel into that tank. A hate comment is like pouring water to the fuel tank, it's not going to take long until the engine malfunction. Bad reviews just straight dumping rock into the main cylinder. Troll's comments and reviews are like slamming a sledgehammer into the engine. A spam bad comments are like jackhammering the engine.

It's my opinion, I don't know about the others.

MaxwellKHA That is also true. But my point still stands. I'm not talking about the original authors but more towards the Chinese ones. I'm not really sure how to define them so forgive me.

You will see they will drop the said novel before the ending. Not just in between. And the process still goes on.. Forever.

Max255 Oh, in that case. I don't know. Although I enjoyed webnovel, I never was a fan of Chinese translation. Still many great originals authors out there.

Max255 Are you sure it's the author's fault, or is it the translator's fault? In most cases it will be the translator who doesn't update in time or stops completely. I doubt you'd be on webnovel and not the original Qidian if you could read in Chinese

YulongYuXianTaiyin translator of course but I don't know how things on webnovel works so I won't comment on that.
I feel very helpless when novels are dropped without any reason. No notice or anything. Much more when they are dropped right before when you reached the climax!

BaeVida You seem to have misunderstood @Max255's post. Max isn't talking about Original authors, Max is talking about Translated Novels. Webnovel has been continuously dropping novels with many of them at a point where they are near completion. Moreover, they don't even give any indication or announcement about this in 99% of the cases.

Try to fully read and understand someone's post before forming your own incorrect conjectures about them.

It seems that everybody has the same problem reading the novels. I hope to be able to read it until the end.
