I need a book that portrays when modern weaponry faces fantasy weaponry. Anything with a technological gap will do, but I prefer the one that has kingdom building on it.

Well there is an arc in the Fifth volume of forty millenniums of cultivation where the mc goes to this world of ancient cultivators while undercover, btw he himself is from a civilization of modern cultivatiors with mechas and all.

I kinda just say that the mc managed to integrate the magic system with his guns and improve them
They don't really have much of an advantage as fast reflexes and magical barriers can easily block normal non-enhanced bullets
