Thought to ask an open question on what peeps are reading.

For me, I'm :pensive: proof checking my own work. I've been re-reading old classics like Salem's Lot (bit twisted by the way) for HarmonyX research, and Adatsubaki Yugami Haguruma for that manly loving fix

Veronica8 Warhammer 40,000 novels from Black Library. Burning through the Grey Knights novels, and planning to read the Astra Militarum omnibuses after this. Also just read a few Battletech novels recently, and looking forward to Ian Douglas's Solar Warden and Stargods that will be coming out this year.

Currently machine translating 'A Race to (Be) the Top' because the translation is only up to chapter 18. It's a Chinese danmei/bl webnovel. 😊 My English would soon be demolished because of all the machine translating I'm doing. 😅

Tomoyuki Nice! I've never read a Warhammer story. I read a Forgotten Realms story from Ragnor's POV long time back. I might source one the Warhammer stories, since I like a good old high fantasy now and then.

Veronica8 Actually, I don't read fantasy stories. I read sci-fi stories. Warhammer 40,000 is actually sci-fi. Well, you could argue that it's sci-fi fantasy or dark fantasy set in the future, with space ships and lasguns...

I'm not reading anything in particular if we're talking about books, I've recently started reading a blog https://womanlylive.com/ which turned out to be quite interesting. I mostly read stories about famous people of the past, some interesting facts about their professional lives etc.

For 10 years now I have not read paper books. Now I am reading stories:

          • Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear
          • Parallel World Pharmacy
          • Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World
          • Takarakuji de 40-oku Atattandakedo Isekai ni Ijuu Suru

Nine star burden is a very interesting magic system novel.

It has similar vibes to versatile mage but it i better imo.
