I-is this self promotion?

Help! Help!

We have shameless people being shameless where they're not supposed to!

    Yuyumamoru well, this is not supposed to consider as shameless promotion, since the op asked for recommendations, but they did not specify genres and tag for the book and thus... Hahahaha...

      AI380 If she gave one book, that's fine, but all four of her examples are her books. That just...well, it's just common sense not to do something like that.

        Tomoyuki Yes, I actually agree about that, people tend to went too over when they found a chance to sneak through the rules.

          I am sorry, I did not mean to be so shameless. I was not even getting anything for my work and all the chapters are free. I posted all of my books because all of them are of different genres and I did not know the preference of the person who posted this thread. I like it when someone reads my work. I am not even asking for any comments or reviews or anything. It is not like I do not have any common sense, just that as I said before I did not know the preference of what type of story the reader would like! I did not mean to offend anyone or I did not know that it could cause such a huge discomfort and get so much attention. Anyways, I removed the post, not because of my lack of common sense but because I do not need to gather attention to my book through such means...

          Wouldn't it be better to ask the poster what genre he/she prefers, then suggest a book of yours that falls under that genre?

            I did not think so much at that moment as the post said to suggest any free books without locked chapters.

            But all my concern here is if anyone points it out in a nice way than criticizing someone's action so harshly, no one would mind deleting that post or alternating it. And isn't it a bot's job to delete or issue a warning to the posts. My post did not receive any warning from them.

            @yaoyueyi
            Please correct me if I am wrong!

            I do not want to go into this loop of unnecessary posts or argument which might flood the thread indefinitely.

            Thank you!

              Darlene_Virginia I don't really mind it when people drop their own novels when it falls under the requirements that the OP asks for. But like others have said, it's always good to

              1) Ask the OP what genres/specific things they like to read.
              2) Recommend the novels of some other people along with your own.

              This way, it comes off as less shameless. Though I wouldn't delete/give warnings for self promotion in threads like these, it would just be nicer to make it less self-focused. But no worries, really. :) Restored your original post because maybe the OP will like your novels, who knows?
