RyoFrancis It's incredibly simple. There's one thread that you're allowed to self promote in, and that's it. Plenty of other forums operate this way, or there will be an insane amount of spam cluttering up the forum. If you don't want to advertise your novel in the same thread that everyone else is doing it in, then I'm sorry, but your thread cannot exist. :(

So many ppl still promote their novels even though the monthly review swap and promotion threads are already in place for so long. They are even pinned quite in the top in case if there are new users... Sigh

LinShui 99% of the time it's because they... didn't see it. :pensive: Or people don't read, I guess? Because even when people do promote on the correct thread, they seem to miss the first two sentences which say to not review swap & to follow formatting instructions. I've also been told that apparently people don't have time to read instructions, which is kind of sad, and frustrating, ngl.
