Although I'm pretty sure no one cares but I'm going to write this anyway.

Some might know, might don't know, yesterday, I dissed a pirate site because they changed my author's note to make them looks like the original poster. And I get suspended by an unknown party, I'm glad that our Botto-sama removed that suspend.

But, guess what, when I was looking for help in the discord server, they said that, it's my fault, I didn't fking read the rules, the rules say you cannot insert any form of the outside link even you are obviously not advertising it! And so I read the rules but... Errr... You can read it to understand what I mean.

However this is not the reason why I want to stop updating, the reason is that the pirate issue is going out of control, they seem to be more active than my real readers (especially with the drastic collection drop this few days), it gives me a feeling that all my views are from those scrapper bots, and now they even try to claim the right for my story. I have to stop updating to see if my hypothesis is true.

For those who support piracy, there you have it, this is the shxt you are supporting.

If this thread getting locked and I'm getting suspended again, I'm going leave this site for good.

    Did you let you readers know about the pirate sites? Well, not one site specifically but just a general mention and briefing as to why updates are stopping?

    Lastly, I'm sorry you feel the need to go to such lengths here. I've had a pretty pleasant experience on Webnovel (though I can't speak for those who exploit/ruin the community for others) but I sincerely hope you don't leave. Just for the heck of it, I scanned your book page (meaning the synopsis, chapter #'s, etc...) and that's a lot of dedication! Not even two months old and your novel already has over 161 chapters, not something I could do even if I super-glued my butt to my desk to stop me from getting distracted.

    I also want to apologize about your discord experience. The people/users there are a bit different from the ones on the forums. Although there may be some people who use both, (the following and everything above are my personal opinions) I tend to find that the discord is more, intense. I don't know how to describe it but they're two very different experiences.

    You may be wondering why I'm apologizing. Well I feel like as a member here and a fellow author, I want you to see that someone cares. That someone read your post and thought about it. Someone out here in the wide web took notice of your threads and complaints. Mainly though, to show that there are many, many kinds of people using Webnovel. (lurkers, ancients, elders, advice seekers, advice givers, authors, readers, admins, heck even bottos!)

          AI380 You're not alone. hahaha! I have filed DMCA on two sites that has my novels in there without my permission at all and nothing happened. But since i'm helpless to do anything and i'm not the omnipotent mc i love to write, i can only pray for their souls. this tribulation happens to most of us in here, moreso those authors in the top rankings. we can only ever hope for our good faithful readers to support us in legit sites and not on them phony ones. hope you find the will to write again someday. cheers!

            Piracy really affects that all, I'm just lucky that the name lf my book coincides with the name of something popular so it wont show up at google search so easily.

            Pro-tip: DMCA the chapter of your pirated book not the entire site.
