I'm writing a book and the spell check won't work for some reason. Any ideas?
Inkstone Spell Check Not Working
Most web browsers have a spell check function built in. If your doesn’t, you can check out grammarly. It’s a free program you can download to spellcheck for you. It works with google chrome (I’m not sure about other browsers).
There is also the option to write/copy everything in a separate program. Microsoft word and google docs come to mind as common options. Both of those have their own spell check program you can use.
shadowdrake27 Thanks for the advice it helped.
Ventia glad I could help!
Inkstone actually had a spellchecker?
I don’t use the website, but it could have been the browser spell check the whole time. Things like that have a habit of being turned on or off in settings without you realizing it. They also tend to be more obvious when you are typing a story than when you are using a search engine. Some people don’t realize it is their browser doing the spell check until they open a website using a different browser/computer.
Veronica8 The old Inkstone had a spell checker (at least on PC, I'm not sure about the App version) that would catch mistakes and underline them in red. I guess when they updated it to the current one the spell check just disappeared.
If you were to type some random nonsense like "prgfiweub" Inkstone would take that as is and won't say anything is wrong.
Ventia What browser are you using?
