I really unhappy with privileges in webnovel right now , please tell me yours thoughts about that.

I hate that I had to pay to get privileges and then once the new month starts over I lose all the chapters I had paid for. I lose all the advance chapters I read and now I have to pay just to get to where I was or wait weeks for the book to catch up. If I already paid for them, keep them there. If I want more privileges add on to my existing chapters. Don't get rid of them and make me start over!!!

    Well if i have the funds then its ok by mr but it just that they upcharge the prize to almost double (22 chap is 799 but 28 chap almost double it to 1499 when it just differ 7 chap, like... WTF !?)
    and wont let me read the advance chapter that i already unlock , which is make me quite down from it

    For some novels it works good. But as it happens every month on some novels every chapter you have paid and unlocked under privilege get locked again not accessible to you either. You have to first buy again privilege and wait for the author to catch up (two weeks usually) before you get to read any new chapter.
    There are others that provide new chapters for privilege every month but they are the minority in my exeperience so far.
    The whole systems feels like if you have enough funds you are sort of good. If none at all, just fight the furstation of not knowing what those 10something next chapters are. Yet if you are in the middle, you simply bleed.

    that's is why i only choose the 1 coin privilege haha

      I hate that I don't even have a choice about using privilege because my PC isn't good enough for a good Android Emulator and my antivirus insists that Memu (webnovel's emulator on Google Play) is malware. Reading these complaints makes me feel better because I'd probably waste my money on my current favorite book and be very pissed right now If i bought the sudden new 25 chapters locked behind privilege yesterday only to have them reset today so i can't read them again in the future.

        Truly with the Price of coins as it is, this "privilege" almost seems like robbery. Truly if the author wants support like in Patreon or some other means the level of locks seems way overpriced for a month to month. Even at a quarter the price for the privilege would I barely consider it palatable.

          I paid for 5 advance chaps only to see that there were only actually 2 chaps available, because the other 3 was from my previous privilege purchase. I feel wronged! I want to support the creators but this type of modus is totally shameless. This will be my lastbi will nonlonger buy privilege next month. I'll stick to lastpass.

          Once you paid for the privileges, they should be yours. Hate that I lost my previous month unlock and can't even advance a chapter each time the writer release new chapter. It is totally unfair. Tempted to give up on the book cos who knows if I will still be interested in the book after 2-3 weeks and will check for update ?
