Hoping if webnovel could create an official desktop app, which would provide the user, with the same functions/benefits as the android/apple app. Below I have listed a few possible reasons for creating this app, as well as, some examples of mobile apps that has also been made into desktop apps.

Possible Reasons:

  • Allowing readers/writers who prefer reading/writing of their PC (ex. due to the larger screen size, being easier to type , etc.) to gain same features/benefits as those use the android/apple app. (like the "Upgrade" and "Reading" rewards)

  • There may be times when the mobile device is not accessible (ex. broken, not working properly, lost, etc. ). In such events, the desktop app could be the alternative which the users could use/go to.
