Lord of the Mysteries-action/adventure/eldritch horror.
The main character, Zou Mingrui, wakes up in the body of someone who had just written something like 'all of them will die' in his journal. He now has to survive in a world full of mysterious powers and secrets he knows nothing about.
Good 'magic' system, with different pathways and abilities. The world building is the main focus and expect info dumping (although you can totally skim a lot of the exposition). There is no romance with the main character, but there are side romance plots and some sexual mentions. The first volume is set up for the rest of the story. If you can make it to volume 2, everything gets progressively better from there, including the plot, the main character, and the character development.
TL;DR Read if you like world building and eldritch horror

My House of Horrors-horror/comedy/psychological. If you ever wanted a smart main character in a horror story, then read this. He is smart and resourceful. The MC, Chen Ge, runs a haunted house attraction. He found a strange phone (which acts as the system for this story), and he is trying to find out what happened to his parents. He proceeds to chase after serial killers with a hammer, employ ghosts to work for him, adopt a cat, and scare visitors to his attraction. There is a bit of romance between the mc and one ghost, which has been oddly wholesome and cute, but there isn't a lot of it.
TL;DR Read if you like horror, want a smart mc in a horror story, and/or just enjoy smart mcs

Trash of the Count's Family-action/adventure.
The main character, Kim Rok Soo, is transmigrated into minor villain of a novel he read. The main character tries to avoid the plot and is an unreliable narrator. He accidentally befriends the original protagonist, adopts two cat children, gets adopted by a baby dragon he rescued, and stops a terrorist attack. And that's...like the first 60 chapters. There's a lot of plot and good characters here, and a lot of foreshadowing.
If you want romance in the story, it isn't here. If you want peak found family, then that's basically the story.
