Isn’t trial read supposed to release books according to the popularity/demand of the readers or just what webnovel wants?? For the past 2 weeks webnovel has just released books which they want to release.

If they want to do that then just delete trial read. The readers wont have false hope this way and wont get attached to the story.

There were soo many good books in trial read but webnovel had to release some generic shit.

When u compare the stats of the book that is selected today, there are 3 books which best it but noooo webnovel just releases what they want. Fucking cunts.

    binit I think it is the books webnovel wants. Considering some of the books that had been picked, I don't think there's more debate about that. Also, if you look at the site from mobile, it would state there 'Editor's Choice', not 'Reader's Choice'.

        It is just a way to get more money from readers.

        Ultimately it's just a fancy way to hold the coins of users for a month so they have to buy new coins to read while they wait the trial read coins to be refunded.

        There are so many undisclosed variables that affect a book being chosen from trial read, that imho it's not even worth participating.

          binit What you think as popularity from the metrics you can see as a reader isn't the whole picture. There are a lot more metrics to consider.

              I have asked this for like the last half a year atleast.. and told them in the last servey to change it, or make it clear that they dont give a f!ck!! and just picked as they liked!.. but seems like they have made it clear now that they dont give a f!ck about what their readers want.. so well done webnovel.. you finally did something right🙄..

                I personally think that the system for leveling and fast passes is broken.

                Readers are encouraged to leave mindless reviews and comments to gain exp.

                Readers are told to “vote” using energy stones, but then given two choices per category. I don’t think I’ve seen a novel get selected through trial read a week in advance ever since they reduced the new additions to one a week on average.

                  Viwnsncie There definitely hasn’t been a novel chosen over the one that’s already been in voting for awhile. At least, in the male leads side. I don’t pay attention to the female leads side all that much. Only sometimes. And trial reads to my understanding chooses the most profitable novel to translate. Whichever one has more coins spent on it.

                      You likely have used non standard characters and the system blacklisted it. Remove the offending characters then hop on discord and ask one of the mods (or cktalon if he's available as he's the typical goto for this) to whitelist your book.

                      As for what constitutes non standard characters? Basically if you've used unicode to generate special characters or formatting unavailable to non contracted authors (italics or bold)
