Well, we all know that the more readers you can attract, the higher your chances are to get noticed. So I wanted to ask, is click-baiting them good from moral standards.
For example,
Title: I got a legendary necromancer.
Maybe be a clickbait, many things could happen, but if it's a system novel then it would be assumed that mc got a necromancer class, but what I did was bring a twist.
I added a legendary necromancer to his party.
So the title stands out, but what I am asking is am I fooling readers??
How to attract readers? Is click-baiting them ethical?

I mean you're not writing an article here, you're writing a novel and clicks on here are kind of pointless. You could just farm for clicks yourself.
As for reading, the people might read it because of the clickbait title/synopsis or whatever, but if it's not something they like, they will also stop reading it. Maybe even leave a low rating review or something.
From an ethical pov....idk.
Personally don't click on novels because of just the title so I can't say if a clickbait novel title has ever interested me.
NoobWriterIsHere clickbait has become so normalised in today’s internet culture. Go off my dude. Do whatever you want.
Also, the title “I Got a Legendary Necromancer” referring to an actual legendary necromancer joining the MC’s party is hardly a clickbait.
Lots of writers put Most OP Immortal or System for example but the starting was that they either die or start at level 1.
That is totally fine.
Click baited title works. A synopsis that shows how badass the MC would be in the future yet didn't explain much also works. Last but not least, cool looking cover, or cover with you know, revealing jiggle also works.
Speaking as an experience reader.
