When should I post my story?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and I'm not sure how everything works here so I figured I'd ask the forum. I have a Light Novel that I am currently writing that is 5 chapters long currently. I am re-reading over them and making edits at the moment. Only chapter 1 is fully edited at the moment. My question is, should I wait till I edit all of my chapters first then post here? Or start putting up the chapters now? I ask because I am currently on Wattpad but it looks like there is more of a anime/manga/light novel community here so I'm thinking I could possibly reach a better audience here. Also I don't know if there is an algorithm here that shows your story based on how much you upload, like Wattpad. Currently, I'm not able to write super fast so...anyway, what do you all think?

Edit those chapters first, so you have a stockpile, then publish it one by one. Trust me, it's decrease a lot of deadline pressure

Thank you! Yea, that does sound better. Do you know if there is an algorithm here though? So when I do start to publish, if my stories won't get shown as much if I finish or stop for vacation?

Nope, my first work got 800 views in first day instead (that's a lot for me). Well, although the first day was easy, the rest was difficult, even now I only got 100-200 views per day (because the story itself). If your story is great, it will be famous soon.

Ngarung Whoa, that's a lot of views in the first day! Does it happen like that for everyone? I think my story is pretty good but I won't know I guess till I post it. But I think I'll wait till I have it edited more. I'm just impatient ^{.^'}

Beware of the genres, the mainstream genres are wat people will read. This is unlike wattpad for most of the time.

CacackleLasson Of course, I am on Wattpad, am I allowed to be links here? To answer your other comment, I like views but I care more about readers that fall in love with my story. If I only had 10 readers, honestly that would make me happy.

You should try to update 15k words at once, that way you will get (a ranking depends on the power stones) the most on the new novels section 30 day period.
