CacackleLasson HIATUS mean there are a very eeny meeny itsy bitsy tiny slim chance that it would continue sometime in a far far away future.
While DROPPED mean it already down there somewhere in a very depth dark abyss with no light of hope at all.

CacackleLasson but successfull author could still go HIATUS, make another new story, forgetting the old and successfully tricking the reader.
