I have seen mixed responses about WN contract. Some are saying it is bad, they treat authors like slaves and some are saying that is promising for the authors. Can anyone please tell me what is the truth?

Don't. Just don't. Webnovel is a terrible site that don't give a flying sht about its author. Expect a lot of copyright infringement, unreliable source of income, and not being able to delete either your account or your stories. You will be forced here, stuck here, and be miserable.
is depend, it's not a slaves contract. you write, you earn money.

Vrinda_Khanna for me, webnovel contract is great. i get to earn lots of money monthly. 200 dollars per month guaranteed for 4 months and if my novel is epic, i'd have the chance to earn 20k dollars monthly like some of the top authors in webnovel. someday, i'll earn that kind of money too and even more. my goal is 100k dollars per month in webnovel! i can do it!

Immovable087 Yes, but the more chapters, the more readers buy and the more you earn. The fewer chapters, the more paying readers you should have. It is the same as having several novels in progress and adding up what they all earn. It's crazy to win 20K and not have a novel like Hidden Marriage or The King´s Avatar.

While the $20K a month figure is very believable, your median figure is ridiculous. Perhaps that's the median for the top 200 authors, but I would guess the median for all authors is under $10 per month. There are a lot of financially unsuccessful authors out there (they may have abandoned their stories, or they may be writing for reasons other than pure monetary gain.)
