I have no idea how many people posted a thread or commented somewhere about why they were not picked even if some of them are willing to translate for free... are they that bad?
Why are there so many ignored translator applicants?
not sure about this. but as a translator, one should have a very brad knowledge and be proficient with the language they will need to translate to.. so maybe they fail in that area?
Webnovel has a certain skill requirement and proficiency to recruit a translator and editor
They wouldn't pick any random dude even they are willing to do it for free
They still have to keep their quality for readers to enjoy
