Hello, I often use the audio system to listen to novels while I'm working and would like to give a quick review on the new one that was just installed, and would like to know what the future plans for the audio system would be as I prefer the old one.

The new one has only a limit to two voice functions, male or female
The speed is much goes from slow, to fast to rapid which is much faster than the old one and no inbetween
The audio also takes a break after each sentence rather than complete the speech till it finds a full stop.
The audio also takes a break as long as a full stop when it finds a comma.

It maybe the difference in voice I'm used to listening to but the breaks in audio seem like the previous versions that was introduced. I would like to know if its possible to intergrate the previous one or allow users to swap between the two untill this one is perfected for use? As it would be helpful to use this one browse new books while listening to the audio of the one your reading.

This is the irrefutable truth. The new audio system is ABSOLUTE TRASH if this isnt changed i will need to look for a new novel provider as you need to be a the mighty brick of Lin Fan in order to listen and actually enjoy this new audio system.

    SeniorVos I like the reference, and yah this is kinda shit, I really don't know why you would change the tts to something that's even worse then the original, and also add less control. This just seems like a real waste of recourses at least for them moment. If you improve it that would be cool, but why release it now? I always wanted the tts to get a revamp but shiiieeet, I guess sometimes you do have to be careful when wishing huh.

      Oh there is actually online support if you scroll down the bottom of the normal webpage under contacts, online services. I also have a nagging feeling that the audio is set for another languague I presume to be Chinese why the difference in speech and unable to pronouce basic words.

      Try listening to chapter 11 of 'Superstars of Tomorrow'...

      Between the mixed language halfway through, or it liking to spell out the words 'had' or 'was' instead of pronouncing the whole word randomly, the audio is teaching me a whole new level of patience.

      So a lot of us know the new audio SUCKS!!! I have good news I found a way to go back to the old audio system, as well as a great TTs for Pc users.

      For the phone users. Step 1 What you gata do is download the unlocked chapters. Step 2 Set your phone to offline/airplane mode. Step 3 Wait for the app to recognize that you have no internet. i.e. an error has occurred/something went wrong. Step 4 click the book you want to be read, then use the audio button.

      It should now be the old version of the tts. I hope this helps!!!

        FluffyButt thanks, it works like a charm. Although manually turning off data and back ons a pain its less painful to the new system that runs off a different language for speech.
