Hi I have written a novel with another account of mine on this site. Yet I keep having problems. When I first tried to enter the contest I got this massage

"Sorry, your novel does not match the writing contest, please check detail"

Despite me having filled out all the details.
Then I went and entered the contest through the + sign. It was successful but my novel does not show up at all. Another thing is that my novel cannot receive power stones. It says this work does not support power stones.

Note, I have a Huawei Y9 and the latest mobile version of Webnovel. Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

    Webnovel currently forces new works, including contest entries, to under go a vetting process. This process can take usually 3 to 5 days. Until vetted no one can vote for your book and it won't show in searches.

        Miss_Ebony That is what I'm talking about. How the hell can the be vetting during a 12 day competition whne it takes 3 to 4 days. Imagine somebody joins on the 6 day, yet his novel would only show up on the 10th day. Meaning people who post first get all the views and powers stones for them self.

        It is utter crap what Webnovel is doing. Not to mention it is Lunar new year meaning it might take longer.

            Altair_Bloodshade well tbh, if you want to win the contest power stones and views dont matter that much(since people can just inflate this with fake acclunts or bots). The content editors read every entry and then judge based on the story. So even if you are first place in terms of powerstones it doesn't guarantuee you a win.

            And even if you dont win, as long as your story is good and has potential, you might get a contract, if thats what youre aiming for ofc. Take me for an example, I was around 16th? I think but a content editor took a liking to my story and I received a contract.

            So, please just be patient, everyone else is going through the same thing. The content editors are busy and have a lot to do, they're already doing their best and deserve some break. Although I do agree the new vetting system is annoying, it doesnt help to get worried about it.

                Votes just give you the motivation to keep writing, but doesn't guarantee a win or contract.

                These days, you can't bank on WPC for instant reader exposure due to the vetting process. Rather, take to a WPC as a screening process for being contracted.
