Seems to be a trend: make a platform, make it popular and then slowly increase pay for use and slowely decrease the reward system. This way users are slowely being “guided” (aka tricked) into wanting to spend real money. With this some users pay, some leave to find other places for providing content. While creator can just use his available content and copy it to a “new/free” platform to restart all over again.
