just an odd quest re the stones, as some days I get 10 and some days I only get 9, on log in, i was just wondering how the numbers were worked out as i used to get 12 up until a few weeks ago for the daily log in (i missed news if there was a change from the 12 if so np but still confused about the 9/10 or is it a bug possibly) also I'm not sure does it have anything to do with levels or comments posted etc thanks
They randomized it so every time you login you will get different amount of spirit stones .
Some days might be 12 or 10,11,9,8 or 7.
Pizz They randomized it, somewhere between 7-14 I believe with most the average being 9 or 10. I personally haven't seen the 14 but that's what I've heard. I have received 7 a few times but mostly 8 and 9s
It appears the randomization was done in order to reduce the number of spirit stones people reveal without being upfront about it.
Qidian has billed it as a "Try Your Luck" type feature even though luck seems to have nothing to do with it. Everyone is losers when averaged out.

Merchenary generally in Gambling you have a chance to win, otherwise people don't play. Furthermore,
Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning money or material goods. That's not the occurrence here.
What we have here is Qidian's desire to reduce the total number of Spirit Stones a person can receive daily and attempting to obscure it with the 'randomized' action.
The only reason to implement random is to reduce spirit stones!
