I was wondering if it was too late to join the Webnovel contest? I have a part of a scrapped book I never finished and thought I could put it to use. Also, do our stories have to "answer" one of the ideas under each writing competition theme? Or can we just pick a theme and write about it?

    Dusk_5088 You can still join the contest, mate! The contest ends at the end of September. As long as your story hits one of the themes for the contest, then you are good to go.

      I used to write on a different writing platform a couple of years ago with a different user. Was in a writer's slump for a while and recently just got back to writing. I thought I'd join the contest to give myself a deadline that way I'll have the motivation to keep pushing in case I get a massive writer's block again. Glad to find this thread.
