You should just create a new book with the same title, synopsis and chapters for the contest. And also promote that you will move your old novel to the contest for the readers to transfer. As long as it was not contracted, you can move it to the spirity contest, that is....... You can't join your already made novel and requires a new one (Be sure to choose spirity awards on the contest info when creating the new novel or all will be for nought)

    You can post there as long as you are not contracted. But if you sign the exclusive contract (offered to you because you are a contestant). You must delete it there as it will be a breach of the contract rules. You know, copyright issues. You can post it anywhere if you are a non-exclusive contracted author though.......

                              Hmmm 🤔 .....hello david! Did you choose "Spirity awards" in your contest info in your novel creation? It has to be sure first or your novel will not be listed in the contestants. Seeing "Serializing" and "contest" was what you needed to see when you created one.
                              First, after you reached 12 chaps, they will vet it if it has potential if having a contract. Second step was to reach 100k words which will make you be enlisted to the final contestants. You need to lock your novel before December coz they wanted to see too if you have paying readers. It was one factor and you also reach a million views before December. It could be a factor too but your novel's quality and potential comes first. As long as you stick to the theme, you have a chance to win! Judging your novel in November and announcing the winners in December. That's all I know for now, did I helped gave you insights?

I heard also from a friend of mine that she (fellow author) has 72 chaps and more than 600k views but still no news about the contract. Be hopeful though. Did you check the info in spirity contest when it was announced? It has a link to your book title and profile below, It was there. For your greyed spirity info, you are already a valid contestant. For the fact that not all contracted authors won the contest, I included last year. I think the story quality, marketability and reader's interaction was also a factor, views too!
                                      Oh, and by the way, vetting for books were delayed too because they were having a holiday for May 1 to 5 so that means, if you are being vetted, it will be delayed. Wait some more I think and don't lose hope.
