Edit: I was wrong, turns out you have to check in so that the coins are claimed for you.

No check in = no coins

corruptus I used to think the same, but when I didn't open Webnovel for two days, I experienced that I didn't receive any coins. 
So you must login to Webnovel in order to get all your coins
