Swiftescape I dropped in to this thread curious over what kind of discussion there would be. I wasn't planning on commenting, but good god... seeing nearly everyone merely plugging their own stories without a shred of awareness nor humility is plain embarrassing.
As soon as people bring their own works into it, the point they're trying to make becomes worthless. How they can't see this is beyond me.

I usually read FL stories only, so I think you are probably talking about how the ML falls for the FL at the first sight, how they are childhood sweetheart or how they were entangled from the very teenage days. You could also be taking about how the FL always has a scumbag bastard ex and either a supportive super nice bestie or a villain one. Indeed there are many cliches. I won't claim mine is something outworldly. But it isn't that cliche. The plot is unique that's what I can guarantee you.
