I am an author, and I want to come up with a system for power division. But my dilemma is should I call them levels or ranks.
Eg. Lord Rank or Lord level, Legend level or Legend rank.
Please Advise.

Mk1111 For me, I like using rank. But, just my humble opinion. ;)
Mk1111 You could always use a bit of both. Like the “Saint” rank, the mini levels could be purification, holy, etc. You can skip mine if you’re more into being straight forward since that kind of setting usually confuses people.
Mk1111 Rank for me! It sounds cooler and using Rank can divide into different levels within the same Rank. for example like you said "Lord Rank", you can add like "Lord 5th Rank" then become "Lord 1st Rank" to be able to go to the next rank. It's more detailed and you can tell the difference of the power from 5th to 1st. You know... something like that.
