Mark decided to follow in his parent's footsteps and become the local clinical vet. His work routine consisted of being harassed by the owner if his patients, treating stray animals he came across and to help out the local police occasionally with the animal cases.

However, one day on such a case, his path crossed with a mysterious youth who declared himself as the 'Game master' of that world and told Mark some disturbing news - that the world the have been living in till now had all been a game and the animals Mark have been treating up till now were not animals at all but monsters who took the shape of animals, all because someone slipped inside a virus which mutated their world

When Mark refused to believe the 'protagonist' the person reveals even more shocking news - Mark's supposed death and how everything around him is a lie.

All the while, those so-called monsters began to appear as a threat to humanity.
