New to webnovel and need a little help. My webnovel has been labelled as a fantasy romance. Trouble is, there isn't any romance in the story and I've not tried to brand it as such. The genre I selected in the editor is 'fantasy(—female leading)' and I've used no romance tags. Does anyone know why is it listed as a fantasy romance and how to change it? (I've seen stories labelled as only fantasy, which is what I want.)
Trouble with genre tags
The same thing happened with my story too. Once you have a 'female main character' webnovel automatically assumes its a romance and its quite irritating. The best thing to do is indicate there is no romance in your synopsis so your readers don't think it is.

SrtaA Interesting. However wow lol webnovel really really considers all females mc's must include romance. Haha, it is silly. But I guess webnovel makes money and most female mc's are like that so changing it is not required.
Can someone please help me......
When creating a story, what does M/M, F/F, F/M and Other in categories mean
M- Male
F- Female
it's about pairings.

Uncle_Sheogorath their experience in the web novel market is wider than mine. They earn lots of money out of it, so they must know a thing or two about the whys and the hows.
I'm past the point of saying how they should market it. They won't listen to me anyway.
