Why do you need to delete your account? If you don't wish to be associated with webnovel.com anymore, then just don't visit the site.
Edit: But if you really need a deletion of your account, write an e-mail.

Puman If you write an email to service@webnovel.com with your account name, ID (can be found under your name in your profile) and reason as to why you want to delete your account, they should be able to help you.

Y'all don't know how nerve-wracking it can be to have an account that has a stupid ass story published on it and its open to anyone to read . And to add to this situation, u can't freaking delete the story and that's why you'll wonder if u could delete the account

The designer or developer are too lazy and stupid to not add delete account or novel features. Someone said that they didn't add it because worried about the account being used by someone who aren't the original user/owner

To the people asking why other people would want to delete their account instead of "forgetting" about it. Because it's a free country

My favorite part about these threads is the fact that you can almost instantly identify the people who are either web novel employees acting like regular users or people paid by web novel to spam positive reviews and attack haters, it's an unbelievably common tactic in Asian countries, manipulation of public image and public appeal. Truly a disgusting company, also for all the ignoramus's asking why would someone want to delete their account as opposed to just ignoring it as some of you have stupidly written there are two main reasons and hundreds of minor ones, the first reason you do not want your information to be affiliated or controlled by a company and deleting your account should in theory, but not in practice, remove your data off their servers, second and most important is that having your account still active even if your not using it means they can still use your account for advertising purposes. An example of them using you for advertising purposes is that they could say they have over one million users even if half of those users or more have decided to 'quit' web novel. Think before you type Sheeple.

Basically I read this: https://whatsawhizzerwebnovels.com/why-do-people-hate-qidian-webnovel/ and decided this webnovel platform is not for me. This platforms values just doesn't agree with me. Censorship, plagiarism, taking advantage of writers is not okay. I am in the process of deleting my account... which they've made annoying complicated...

If you want to cancel your account, please check if your account meets the following requirements:
1.the account is registered at least 14 days ago and not blocked,
2.the balance of the account is 0,
3.no password changes in 14 days,
4. it is not an author's account,
5. your account must be bound to a mailbox.
If your account meets above requirements, you can apply for cancellation in the APP (version 4.4.0)--profile page--Settings--Deactivate account.
I told them that these were pretty redundant steps. It doesn't make sense to wait for 14 days, to link my account to an email address when I want to get rid of my data on this web platform. I've asked them to see if they can delete my account from their end. Should be a pretty simple process to be honest.

So they've basically said to me that I can't delete my account since I don't satisfy their requirements.
Why on earth would I want to give them more of my personal data by linking my email to this site and downloading their app? It just doesn't make any sense.
Pretty unhappy about this. I am pretty sure they can do it. It is pretty simple coding and software stuff on their end, but they've put in place this requirements to make it more difficult for people to leave.

DearChichi Go in app settings, and if you fulfill the requirements, you can delete the account.
