Can anyone recommend me novels with a gay mc, preferably action? I would like it if it is modern, but historical is also ok. Doesn't matter if its fantasy or not. Basically a story with action, a smart mc, and subtle gay romance.

            Maybe you can check out my work. I'm not gonna pretend that my novel is the most unique story out there but all I'll say that it is different than the stories you'd normally find here. It's a fantasy work, urban fantasy to be specific, that is heavy on worldbuilding and character centric. It does not have game mechanics or cultivations or lovable MC with OP powers...or revenge-seeking angsty MC with OP powers.
            The MC isn't gay, well, not completely atleast but there's another main POV that is gay so if that's fine by you...
            The story is basically about a guy who does not feel very special and happens to find something that might make him special with heavy costs and sacrifices attached to it.
