Dear writers,
I only just realised that there is no way to insert italics on Webnovel formatting!
My book has been using present tense for thoughts, and past tense in all other parts of the book. On other platforms (e.g. Kindle) and in my drafts, these have been denoted by italics. It must have been confusing for readers, who have no way to differentiate.

How do you format your book so that the thoughts of characters are explicitly different from the rest of the prose? Please share!

    To indicate thoughts, I usually use 'insert thought' as compared to "insert dialogue".

        PGODofficial You can use a variety of ways, but a lot of writers use either [], {}, (), etc to indicate thoughts. Or the standard: "Man, this formatting is tough," she thought.
