Not sure if this has been suggested before or not but here goes.

It'd be nice if when viewing a genre page e.g. https://www.webnovel.com/category/list?category=0 if there were options for filtering the results down to find something that matches what you're looking for.

Possible filter options:

  • Chapter Count (min)
  • Release frequency (per week?)

There are probably more ways to filter things down which I can't think of right now but those 2 would be a good start.

Anyone agree/disagree?

+1, it'll be especially helpful whenever they add more novels

I agree. I would especially love it if the sorting and filtering options here can match one-fifth of what novelupdates have for their series searches.

This is especially important now with a bunch of original novels that only have 1 rating at 5 stars! Please allow filtering original vs not. And to filter novels with less than X ratings. And a bunch of other standard filtering (by tags? name substring, etc)

Thvar If you have a tag on a novel you are currently reading that you are interested in finding other similar works with the same, just click on the tag and all novels with the same tag with pop up as a search query.

It would be ranked by popularity combining both translated and original. If you are worried about reading original works among the list, you can just skip thumbnails where the cover has the original mark.

Translated works tend to have most of the views anyway, so original stories tend to be buried a bit further down the list.

        Hope that helps you.

That's nice. I didn't know! I was trying to search by rating and not specify a particular tag and had to scroll for pages to get past original works (while worrying about possibly missing one). Probably searching by views would have been a much better choice.
