JunkieOverThe_Moon Well, it depends on what you want to do then. If you want to focus solely on your studies, than just do nothing. But if you prefer to have a part-time job and earn some money on your free time, then go ahead and send it.
If you didn't find the test that hard, then it all depends on how tough you think your studies will be, how much free time you'll have, and if you'll want to spend it working. Because as fun as reading stories and working on them is, it's still work.
JunkieOverThe_Moon My parents have been telling my older brother to get a part-time job at uni since he was 18. Wouldn't your parents be appreciative of the fact that you've got a part-time job? The fact that you can bring in another source of income to last another day in this cruel, dog-eat-dog world would surely make them, right? And editing will give you a better eye for detail when going over documents and whatnot in the future! Editing will improve how you write up documents, improving sentence structure and word choice! Surely, your parents have got to appreciate that you're not only making your own money, you're expanding and improving your current skill set, paving a steady road for your future, right?

thnks guys! i appreciate your thoughts, but... the thing is, my parents still live on the stone-age period. they think a hundred times about whether or not they should visit a e-shopping site, let alone buying something. and as for money matters, even if we become poor, they would still say that we have enough money, so study. i already had two huge world wars in my house when i just brought the topic of editing webnovels out. they just don't believe me. [ the actual reason why my parents are cutting off internet is because my dad was fired from his job at the age of 56, and the fees of colleges are increasing here in India. ]
Neverfire7 and as for Neverfire7 opinion, i already told my parents about the benefits of reading story books ages ago, but they still bicker around with me yelling "why r u reading story books!!! are u a child ... blah-blah-blah"
editing, from my view point is a far off thing.
my plan was to secretly test the waters of editing in the last 6 months we had planned to take before i go to closed door cultivation, but since he was fired, the period is shortened further, coming from 6 to 0.
anyway, sorry for making this too long. i appreciate all of your concerns. and yes, if i can securely pass the editing xam this time, i'm gonna fight for it again with my parents. otherwise, i will just wait till i go to college.

guys, i am taking the editor's test. and there is always this caption before the a new test section saying, "IMPRESS US IF U CAN" wtf. how the hell do i impress someone, who has just sent me one mail and that too, a test mail!! and ... who is Danqing Sun??

To me, "Impress us if you can" was a challenge. All night I was yelling to myself, aw yeah this boi gonna impress somebody! Only lasted for a night though and I was whimpering from the pain at the end.
It took about 10 days before they responded back to me. This was back in January, so things might be a bit more different now.

Nou dude, i will be taking the COLLEGE ENTRANCE XAM! i'm not in a college right now. and yeah, i'm not from america. and there's wifi and all in library and public places, but i like my good-old desktop for writing purpose. i am not so good with mobiles and android.
and, will our results be mailed back, even if we failed the test?? [cause i wanna know how bad i actually am as per international standards]

JunkieOverThe_Moon like over a week and a half? I think they do it in batches tho so everyone should get the result if they are in the same batch. Just my opinion tho, not 100% sure.

Ugh, I'm dying during the waiting for Qidian's email reply... I received an email stating that they're formally accepting me on a FRIDAY 6 PM <<<< RAGE It's like, the food is gonna enter your mouth but they're preventing you from eating it... Prolly before they even discuss stuff with me I'll probably be starved A-F.. cries
Can I know how long does it usually take for them to reply? It's kinda affecting my concentration, but it's not really nice to spam them with emails .... x.x

Did anybody get a response?? I contacted the recruitment team couple of weeks ago. I was told that they are still under the process of validating the applications & tests and would get back to us in two week's time. However, there's still no news. Can others contact them and check?
wow qidian admin team is just fuckin bad... and probably understaffed too no wonder this site sucks balls and the quality drops from day to day
