Well they marketed the original option pretty widely when the started it.

Hoping to get new format options soon! I rely heavily on italics and bolds to add emphasis and variety to my writing. :)
Don't think this is a high priority option for them. It is possible to switch on, but apparently it would impact on connected platforms if I recall from a last discussion about this some time back.
If they can get away with their own books being formatted by some other means, I don't think they'll invest more on Inkstone than required. The only way I see HTML being switched on is when Inkstone is the primary publishing application that all their paid books go through.

I have the possibility/option for WN on my wish list, which enables me to switch the orders of my published chapters. please, almighty CN God/Immortal/Demon/Devil/Ghost/Allheaven, please grant me this wish, as I like to rewrite stuff on my published chapters but don't want to delete and republish chapters all over again ...
_lalalalalalala_ It works for desktop, but somehow it turns the text blank on some mobile devices.
XD I notice that WN don't have those options, but will, I just copy pasted my work here from odt.
Bold and Italic for inkstone is on the way.

Vespertian Get contracted and you will get those formatting options.
Vespertian WN team intended to roll out formatting a while back, they realised it was too buggy after piloting with contract authors. Then it became a contract only feature. That shouldn't be a reason to go contract. To be honest I think it's still buggy as formatting doesn't appear on mobile version of book.
