Check your downloads folder...
downloaded chapters arent saved anywhere separately as far as i know.
If you download a novel it just means you can read inside the webnovel app like usual even if you are offline up to the point which was the newest chapter at the time you have downloaded it.
Normally if you are offline no chapter will be shown and instead there will be a error page "you are offline"
So download function just ensures to see the chapter even if offline instead of that error page.

But I cant read the whole novel after downloading I think this a scam!!
The download feature is just to load the pages faster if your net sucks. Our definition of download is drastically different than webnovels.
