Looks like most of the novels will eventually go premium which also means I’m going to have to chose which novels to drop, this spirit stone system doesn’t help the authors or translators as much as they could...
For example if you’re like me and doesn’t have loads of money to be spending every week because of tgif and premium in genral you have to chose what you really want to read and you will have to drop other novels, there has to be another way than robbing your customers dry and churning out filler chapters, introduce a different system please qidan your crippling your fan base for profit it can’t go on for some people you need to change something before people stop reading all together

some people choose to pay for the premium chapters on 1-2 novels and wait for the chapters to be unlocked on the rest.

I agree, maybe qidian add more opt than premium wall, maybe double adds or idk other opt, not all ppl would willingly spent money for this, but im sure others prefer watching adds.

Olivia I understand but it sucks dude I want to be able to read all my favourite novels up to date, I don’t mind paying something like £15-£20 a month for free access to all novels up to date no payview

BCT just thought of an idea, what If they kept the spirit stone system but also add a monthly subscription that unlocks all premium novels if you don’t want to spend more money to unlock all premium chapters you could use spirit stones to unlock them for example lets say the monthly subscription could be like £20 but to read your favourite novel or novels it’s costs less than that monthly with spirit stones you still have the option to buy spirit stones, I honestly doubt qidan really takes these ideas seriously but I would hope they don’t want fuck over their fan base for that money

I think they said something along the lines of the reader base isn't big enough last time someone suggested Subscriptions.

BCT tbh our opinion would have little to none influence on future actions of Qidian. It is a media platform that has a lot of potential and it would be molded first of all after the market needs, opinions of investors, profitability and at the end on opinions written in the forum threads. If the current system is convenient for the majority you can forget about any changes.
