I have been contemplating for some time now about this concept. I write when I can, read constantly, but I don't blog or social media. I just don't know where and how to start. Other than writing constantly for a year and a half now. Reading every how to books can only get you so far. I would love to hear some a suggestions upon the topic. Thanks for your time

First of all, find the best social platform to release your writing. I heard rumors that WebNovel isn't really author-friendly. So...

Anyways, just start. You know, some novel took years to finish. Just start and keep on writing....

I just started too, and I hope to see the end of my novel someday...

Anyways, if you want to find a good platform to publish your novel, I remember that I found a list on google after I searched it.

What the fuck are you talking about? There is no room for contemplation: either you want to do it, or you don't. Stop dicking around and sit down and give it a try, and you'll quickly find out whether it's something you want to keep on doing.

Just don't mindlessly write HAREM NOVELS .. well to be exact TRASHY HAREM NOVELS ..not that it matters as all harem novels are TRASH ANYWAY .. (WELL THERE'S ALWAYS EXCEPTIONS)

I never wanted to become a writer, moreover, it was because of the endless writing assignments in college that I wanted to quit my studies, especially after the difficult dnp capstone project Fortunately, friends recommended me good specialists who helped me cope with my tasks. I really admire writing professionals who know their stuff well and can complete a written assignment in a short amount of time.

Here's my two cents on this; the key to becoming a better and serious writer---in my humble opinion, is probably just writing...like writing a CRAP TON.

Now, I don't consider myself a professional writer in any league, but I'd like to think I've been writing for a very long time and subsequently, I've gone through numerous, if not ALL, the stages of becoming a writer.

What I mean by that is I've gone through of ABC's of writing struggles:

        a. Writing a paragraph and calling it a short story
        b. Writing a page and thinking it was a book
        c. Writing pages, and pages of things that ABSOLUTELY made no sense.
        d. Writing pages, and pages of things that FINALLY made sense, but were ABSOLUTELY unreadable
        e. Writing pages and pages of things that FINALLY made sense, and FINALLY were readable, but ABSOLUTELY were unoriginal and shoot yourself in the head BORING
        f. Writing pages and pages of things that FINALLY made sense, and FINALLY were readable, and FINALLY were original and interesting, but were ABSOLUTELY way too out there and way too everywhere, that who would enjoy reading it when they can't understand it?
        g. Noticing my writing was elementary, and then working to improve but ending up even worse.
        h. Then continuing to improve it and gaining feedback from friends and family who were too kind to tell the truth
        i. Then realizing my writing style and writing still sucked and needed to get better
        j. Going actual criticism through writing guilds and writing circles only to be faced with ABSOLUTE criticism that TORE my work and my heart apart.
        k. Giving up writing
        l. Coming back to writing
        m. Wanting fame and fortune through my writing
        n. Not wanting fame and fortune through my writing because I was afraid of being crushed again
        o. Writing trashy projects
        p. Creating new projects every other day after inspired from something random
        q. Dropping new projects every other day
        r. Writing new projects that weren't trashy and were probably good but were never finished
        s. Editing
        t. Editing
        u. Rewriting
        v. Rewriting
        w. Hating Writing
        x. Quiting Writing
        y. Returning to Writing
        z. Loving Writing

If you want to be a serious writer, you have to be prepared to struggle and yet also progress. Writing is time-consuming, yet highly rewarding if you can push through the cycle.

At times, it's easy. Other times it's not. You're going to go through a lot. You're going to be satisfied with your work, and then some days you aren't. It's a creative journey that if you're really serious about it you have to just keep writing.

Write a little every day about something that interests you or something you came up with, or just write to randomly write something that day.

The point is, you only get better over time. They say practice makes perfect, but no, practice makes better. If you're serious about it then just write and the rest will follow. That's all.

        I wish you the best,
        Vale.

          NotBeatrix You forgot some...
aa. Thinking you're finally getting good at writing, then reading someone else's work that blows your mind.
bb. Realizing that using things such as Systems and NSFW content is a crutch
cc. Discovering that a crutch is sometimes what you need.
dd. Pandering to the masses may get you more views, but it can destroy your own story.
ee. Rebuilding your destroyed story be just what your story needs.
ff. Sometimes you just have to chase down an idea that popped into your head and come to the conclusion that it really was terrible before you can finally move on to something more meaningful.
gg. Coming to the realization that success is how you measure it yourself. (Although monetary success would be amazing)
