What is the secret of writing to thousand chapters and still being able to maintain the main storyline? It's thousands of chapters! two, three, for thousand, Gods, how much time to spend those chapters every day? how great is that? I work and even if I'm not, maybe I just can update the story for two to four chapters, and its means 2, 3 multiple a day in one year, so be able to update to thousands of chapters I need,....1 to 4 years!! really, that kind of writer is such amazing!!!

Sweet_SourKiwi I have read novels that has thousands of chapters and from what I noticed is that, there are different sets of story arcs and timelines (If it's a cultivation novel or in fantasy settings), most of it has filler chapters of actions, political struggle or family dramas, dog-blood scenes, huge misunderstandings and you name it all.
Sometimes filler chapters can be connected to the main plotline or another problem that would rise and then begin another dog-blood drama and struggles and so on...
But, to be honest, I really salute those authors who can create thousands of chapters and I want to try it as well hehe! xD

Sweet_SourKiwi by the time my first series is finished, it will have two-thousand chapters. This is because it was supposed to be four separate books, but since Webnovel doesn’t do it like traditional books, it’s all under one title.
The first book is like an introduction to the characters, and the main storyline. Each book is pivotal to the overall plot because Skye and Tidas make allies for a massive war at the end of the story. Their world is extensive, with multiple continents that the MCs have to travel to for various reasons. Can’t go into details(exclusive), but each book has a unique storyline that interconnects to the main plot. It will take another 3 to 3 1/2 years(already been a year, and at 400 chapters today
), to complete the series, but I’m freakin’ ecstatic to write it. It is honestly my favorite story ever
Sara_Wilcox Wow that's sound so cool, really want to have more time on reading books, especially understand why the story can build up to thousands of chapters, but unfortunately, time is always running so fast when you're writing and working at the same time like we don't always have time, I wish one day I have, hahahaha
