One thing you need to keep in mind that any random technique should have a ridiculously long name like, "Three palms to divide the sea, first move, River crusher!"
One, that's how it is, two, it adds to the word count, three, that's what people are used to.
The same applies to sect names and weapons, like "Heavenly Serenity Sect"
Just put grand names together, like heavenly, supreme, divine, blabla, it doesn't need to make sense, like cultivation itself, no one takes it seriously because it's a bunch of nonsense to begin with, sort of like, write and it shall be kind of thing. So if you want to explain, just make it vague. Like saying "he gathered Qi into his dantian and formed a core, achieving the core formation realm," see, you just said that he formed a core, didn't mention anything about the process or how it happened.
Their education level needs to be low, characters needs to be dumb, childish and willful. MC needs to be hot blooded and cursing the heavens all the time. They care too much about their face. Women appearing to surround the MC from out of nowhere.
And the list goes on. Young Masters appearing to steal them.
Now, these are the usual cliches. If you really don't want to write the usual BS, make sure to avoid them.
Things you need to pay attention to, well, you have to learn the Chinese etiquette I guess, like kowtowing, cupping your hands when greeting...etc. Way of speech is also different, like saying a stick of incense worth of time or saying "senior said and laughed", or "coughed blood", "I had eyes but failed to see Mt.Tai".
Naming, you can just Google it. Type in Google, "Chinese names for Boys/Girls".
Ig that's it?
